There are 7 hospitals and/or emergency rooms, several urgent care clinics, and a VA outpatient clinic.
The new VA medical center in Cape Coral is just under an hour away.
La Casa volunteers also provide blood pressure checks, and sponsor medical programs and events for the residents during the year.
