There are so many activities, that at times, it is difficult to manage the household schedule.

My wife an I are very active within the park. There are so many activities, that at times, it is difficult to manage the household schedule. After look at over 20+ plus in 2010-2011, we decided that LaCasa was the place for us. After a short ride through the park and listening to the enthusiasm of the volunteer who showed us around, we were sold.

The first activity that we signed up for was the tennis dance. We didn't know anyone at that point. The person selling the tickets was the president of the tennis club. He asked us which table we wanted to sit at. We told him that we were new. He told us he would put us at his table and that night, within 10 minutes we knew all 6 couples at our table and those at adjacent tables. The Fields made sure we were introduced to everyone.

My wife's would be quilting followed by tap dancing. I am very involved in LaCasa Real Estate as a volunteer now, love the line dancing classes and LaCasa Chorus. Recently we both became involved in the artisan's group. We are doing fused glass and mosaics. It is so much fun and the volunteer instructors are so helpful.

The beautiful surroundings, diversified activities and sports are unmatched

We discovered LaCasa 5 years ago and rented longer each year. Last fall we bought a place as it was clear this is truly a "home away from home" The beautiful surroundings, diversified activities, and sports are unmatched..but the people in this community make it truly special. Not only do they put in countless hours volunteering in the park but they are community oriented. Most of all, when anyone at LaCasa needs help, teams step in to climb a ladder, change a light or transport a neighbor to the Dr. This community has a BIG HEART

It's so easy to make friends here and get involved.

La Casa is a beautiful and fun place to live. There is so much to do here. It's like being on a cruise ship and having so many activities to choose from. There is no reason to ever be bored. Think of summer vacation all the time and how relaxing that is. That's what it's like to live here!

We retired early and have been living here since 2003. It's so easy to make friends here and get involved. When we first moved in a neighbor knocked on the door and said "Welcome young people"! They invited us to a get-together at their place and we met all their friends. It's so easy to meet people.

It's difficult to say what my favorite activity in La Casa is! My husband and I love to dance and there are so many social functions all year long. I learned to play tennis here and love playing several times a week, but I also take tap dance lessons and those are so much fun and keep my brain working, and then there's the choral group called voices of la Casa that performs two shows a year, and there's walking exercises at the clubhouse and then there's pool exercises,.....I just can't choose!

it’s a great 55+ gated community that we are proud to call home

After retiring my husband and I traveled in our fifth wheel for several years which we totally enjoyed. We visited different areas of Florida and found that we really wanted to be south of Sarasota in a more permanent living arrangement. We wanted a clean and well maintained environment with lots of activities and we needed to feel safe. La Casa met our requirement and much more. There is an array of activities, something for everyone. With two pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, bocce ball, shuffleboard, horse shoes, card games, fused glass, pottery, dances and so much more, you really have to pick and choose which activates to get involved in. We love our neighbors and love this park; it’s a great 55+ gated community that we are proud to call home for 6 months a year. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
